America, in "The Case of the Chemical Syndicate. Detective Comics #27".
Detective Comics #38: Robin is created and
united with Batman, developing The Dynamic Duo.
1940: Batman earns his own
series called Detective Comics Batman
Detective Comics Batman: Villains, such as
Catwoman, Joker, Penguin, and Mr. Zero are introduced.

12, 1966: Batman airs on television,
starring Adam West.

10, 1971: The New Adventures of
Batman,
an animated series airs.
1986: Frank Miller and Klaus
Janson write a four-book series starting
with Batman: The Dark Knight, a story depicting Batman as a developed
warrior.

2008, 2012: Christopher
Nolan directs a Batman trilogy based off of the book series.
2009: Batman:
Arkham Asylum
becomes a best-selling video game.

22, 2014: Television
show, Gotham, a show based on the
uprising of Batman's enemies, is aired.
